- Preparation or revision of the final agreement if an agreement is reached

- Tracking of required waiting periods and next steps

The attorney serves as a neutral mediator and does not represent either party. If an agreement is reached, CourtBuddy will prepare the necessary documents and guide the parties through completing the divorce on a pro se basis. If an agreement is not reached or the case becomes contested, the package will end. Either party may then retain separate counsel for legal representation.

Which Option May Fit Your Needs?
Choose Guided Pro Se If:
You both agree, want the divorce documents prepared correctly, and feel comfortable handling the filing and court process yourself.
Choose Managed If:
You both agree and want an attorney to prepare and file the documents, track the required deadlines and waiting periods, and manage the uncontested divorce through final judgment.
Choose Mediation If:
You agree on most issues but need help resolving the remaining ones. If an agreement is reached, CourtBuddy will prepare the necessary divorce documents and guide you through completing the divorce pro se.
Important Information
CourtBuddy is designed for uncontested divorces and cases where both sides agree on most or all issues. If a dispute develops that cannot be resolved through the CourtBuddy process, your package may end and either party may need separate legal representation. Any additional legal services will require a separate written agreement and fee.
